The fragrance
The brand Mont Blanc presents a new men’s fragrance in April 2011. Legend is dedicated to inspiring, virtuous and self-confident men who are courageous, passionate and authentic. Their fragrance is subtle but striking and masculine. Olivier Pescheux, the perfumer behind this fresh fougere creation, tried to make the fragrance filled with contrasts, combining notes that evoke strength and tenderness, tradition and modernity. The composition opens with fresh aromatic tones of bergamot, lavender, pineapple leaf and exotic verbena (Litsea Cubeba). The heart emphasizes oakmoss note (evernyl molecule) merged with geranium, coumarin, apple, rose, and Pomarosa molecule (notes of dried fruit). The base contains sandalwood, tonka and evernyl.
Notes
A pyramid is top, heart, then base. The top is what you smell in the first minutes. The heart is the wearer. The base is what remains on skin and cloth the next morning.
Sillage and longevity
Sillage is the trail left in the air. Longevity is how long it stays on skin. Eau de Toilette sits lighter. Eau de Parfum wears closer and longer. Extrait is the most concentrated, and it blooms more slowly. Heat, skin, and fabric change every wearing.
Shipping and returns
Orders leave within two working days. Delivery across India usually takes three to seven days. Unopened bottles can be returned within seven days. Opened perfume is not returnable, because it has been worn.
